What is Desirial Plus?
DESIRIAL® PLUS is a more elastic gel designed to remodel the Labia Majora (outer lips of the vulva) which has lost partial volume (hypotrophy) or total volume (atrophy). One of the main improvements, apart from an aesthetic point of view, is the protection of the inner lips of the vulva (Labia Minora). After a certain age, the tissues tend to shrink, especially in the outer lips, which can lead to a decrease in the natural protection of the vulva and localised pain. The hyaluronic acid gel recreates volume, thus protecting the area once again.
How Desirial Plus Work？
When injected, the hyaluronic acid gel directly enters the vulvo-vaginal tissues and efficiently helps rehydrate the zone. The product injected then indirectly creates a mechanical pressure on the cells in the vaginal mucosa, which in turn, stimulates their activity.
Through the stimulation of these cells, the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibres is boosted and therefore helps improve the overall quality of the vulvo-vaginal mucosa.
DESIRIAL® PLUS allows you to restore volume loss in the Labia Majora, improving patient comfort and their quality of life. Through this treatment, the volume restored to the outer lips acts as a protective barrier for the vagina.
WHO IS IT FOR?
- Pre- or menopausal women.
- Women of childbearing age suffering from dehydration of the vulva with or without irritation.
What are the contraindications for this type of treatment?
Side Effects:
After an intimate care injection, and just like with all other hyaluronic acid-based injections, certain reactions may occur right afterwards, such as, swelling, bruising, irritation or senstivity at the injection site. These side effects will generally disappear after several days (this list of side effects is non-exhaustive. Please read the product notice for more information). If these undesirable effects continue for more than a week or other secondary effects start to appear, contact your medical practitioner as soon as possible.
After treatment, patients notice:
- Better hydration of their intimate area (decreased vaginal dryness).
- A reduction in vulvar pain, irritation and itching
- Greater comfort during intercourse
Results last 6 months on average. Additional sessions may be necessary to guarantee a long-lasting & optimal effect.
